SEEFF Interfaith Lectures

Featured

With the closure of The Interfaith Network there is a strong need to strengthen dialogue and mutual understanding between Faiths.

As a modest contribution to this end, SEEFF has started a bi-monthly online lecture series.  At 7pm UK time, on the second Thursday of every “odd” month (Jan, March, May etc) we will host a speaker on an aspect of religion, with the aim of covering a wide variety of subjects over time.  The lectures are designed to take between 45 and 75 minutes, including questions.

The series is entitled The Elizabeth Jenkerson Memorial Interfaith Lecture, in honour of a recently deceased friend who served with distinction on the SEEFF Board for years, on three SACREs – Hants, Portsmouth and Southampton, and helped organise events for the National Association of Teachers of RE.

SEEFF AGM 2023

South East England Faiths Forum’s (SEEFF) Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held at 3pm on 6th February. This will be an online meeting.

During the AGM, you will have an opportunity to hear the new exciting programme that SEEFF is working on for 2023. The events of the year start with a talk by the Bishop of Reading, Olivia Graham, on March 2nd. On the subject of Climate Change, Bishop Olivia asks the question “Are YOU with Noah, on the Ark, or are you enjoying life onboard the Titanic?” We are also planning some regular events later in the year.

If you wish to attend the AGM please contact, Emel Soylu, at emel@art-beyond-belief.com

so that we can send you the zoom link to the meeting.
