FaithAction is a new national network that has received government funding to be the voice of faith and community organisations delivering public services. Through a national staff team and nine regional offices, FaithAction is bringing together grassroots organisations that are delivering or seeking to deliver public services and helping them access funds, deliver contracts and create more effective partnerships with government at every level.

RAISE exists to champion the third sector’s unique contribution to making South East England socially, economically and environmentally sustainable.

Their role:

  • Make regional policy makers aware of the scale, diversity and value of the third sector.
  • Make sure the voice of third sector organisations is heard and acted on by regional policy makers.
  • Enable third sector organisations to campaign effectively for change.
  • Build third sector organisations’ capacity to contribute to a sustainable region.

Faith Based Regional Network – www.fbrn.org.uk

FbRN UK is the leading national multi faith network for community regeneration and social action. It reaches 9,000 individuals and projects, and all faiths. There vision is to enable faith based practitioners to learn and gain inspiration from each other and to establish a conduit between policy makers and practitioners.

Interfaith – www.interfaith.org.uk

The Inter Faith Network for the UK was founded in 1987 to promote good relations between people of different faiths in this country. Its member organisations include representative bodies from the Baha’i; Buddhist; Christian; Hindu; Jain; Jewish; Muslim; Sikh; and Zoroastrian communities; national and local inter faith bodies; and academic institutions and educational bodies concerned with inter faith issues.
