WhoAmIweb 2Who am I?

“This powerful and thought-provoking resource is very good value for money and is highly recommended for the RE classroom.”
Caroline Bond: RE Today, Autumn 2013

Who Am I? is an Inter-faith multicultural DVD which explores the religious identity of young people. It is a joint project between The Oxford Diocesan Committee for Inter-faith Concerns, South East England Faiths Forum & Art Beyond Belief.

Who Am I? sprang out of an event held at the Friends’ Meeting House in Reading as part of Inter-faith Week 2010. It was such a success that we wished we had filmed it; hence the replication at a day conference at Slough Grammar School in September 2011. The project was launched in November 2012.

The set includes two DVDs, “The Event” and “The Group Discussions”. It is a result of a day’s conference held at Slough Grammar School. “The Event” focuses on a talk given by Dr Eleanor Nesbitt, Professor Emerita of Religions and Education, University of Warwick, and discusses a number of pertinent issues to do with the religious identity of young people. The second DVD, “The Group Discussions” shows discussions on eight different themes including dress and identity, language and parents, religion and culture.

Who Am I? is a useful and thought-provoking resource which can be used in different contexts. The DVD set costs £20. To order, or for more information, please contact David Sparrow on 07412 974454 or by email to
