South East England’s 6th online interfaith lecture: “In Full Partnership: Women in the Bahá’í Faith” was held on 13 November 2025. Wendi Momen was our lecturer. Wendi Momen has been associated with the Bahá’í Faith all her life. Her grandmother, a Norwegian immigrant to the US, read about it in a newspaper in 1912 and became a Bahá’í in 1947. Wendi was born in Hollywood, California, and moved to the UK when she was 18. She has a BSc in Economics and a PhD in International Relations, both from London School of Economics. She served as a magistrate in the adult, youth and family courts for 38 years and has been a member of the national governing council of the Bahá’ís of th UK for 35 years. She is dedicated to the advancement of women and is a trustee of Widows Rights International.
